Tales from the Dead Zone Vol 2 Chapter Art

HOOO kay!  I realized as I was trying to tell my SF buddies about my requirements that "900x300px) seems to translate to 2"x0.66"  O_O  Nope nope NOPE!  So this journal has a few edits including an extension on the deadline and the new dimensions I would like to see for the images!

When the previous Tales from the Dead Zone was being prepared for publishing, I asked my readers and followers to help me out by making art to head up the stories.

I would like to bring that back for the next TftDZ (vol 2)!

As last time,  all entries will be credited (including links of your choice and a listing in the illustration credits).   

PROMOTION: TOHS: Tales from the Dead Zone

RUNNING: December 18-May 01

SYNOPSIS OF PROMOTION: Would you like to see your art in a published novel?? Would you jump at the chance to read a story from the collection before the public can get their hands on it? Now is your opportunity! Tales from the Dead Zone (Vol 2) is slated to be published in October, 2016.

I am looking to include small black and white images at the beginning of each short story in the collection and I'm hoping my fellow artists will be willing to help me out!

RULES!

~The promotion will run from Dec 18-May 01

~Each interested artist will be emailed one of the eight short stories at random to read, with the expectation that the artist will provide a piece of art to exemplify that particular story in the novel. I will accept up to two artists per story (16 total entries). One entry per artist please. Please let me know as soon as possible so I can get the story to you ASAP. Include a good email address (Here if you're not shy or via PM if you don't want the world to know it)

~The image needs to be 300dpi or higher in resolution and needs to be reducible to a dimension of 4"x2". It should also represent the content of the story without being too spoilerish.

~Save the image as a .png with a clear (or white) background or a .jpg with a white background and email them to me @ tgrshrk06@hughes.net Include the following information:
-Your name or alias or profile name
-Any links you would like included in the credits (please limit this to one or perhaps two: such as a novel website or a DA profile)

**If multiple artists submit an image for the same short story, it is up to the discretion of the author which of the two images will be placed with the story.

**Images not chosen to accompany a story will be distributed throughout the extras section of the novel.

***All entries will be given credit for their work and get linked to a site of their choice for cross promotion. All illustrations will be listed at the beginning of the book (list of illustrations) and what page their work can be found on.
