Summertime is a bit....thin as far as income (Substitutes are paid at will - I work, I get paid... so summertime there is no work...so no pay.)  So, I am opening up summertime commissions.  Details below:

Commissions

Rough Sketches:  (character concepts - little detailing) $5


Detailed Sketches: (Shading, clean lines, etc) $10


Inks: (No colors, white backgrounds) $15


Flat Colors: (Solid colors + lines, no shading) $20


Single Subject, Full Digital: (lines, colors, shading, simple background)  $30


Additional characters added to a piece of art $10 each

Things I WILL do:
- People, Antro, Animals
- Nudes - male or female
- Action poses, Intimate poses(see policy for multiple subjects), standing, sitting...etc...

Things I will NOT do:
- Hentai or  Porn (IE blatant sex acts, in all it's iterations)
- Overt Gore (Blood's okay, a bit of guts and gore fine, but beyond that please don't ask)


I will only be taking 3 slots for the month of June (As I have a lot of time away from the computer until the 2nd week of July)

~~~Half of the payment is expected to start anything above the sketch levels. 
~I will expect the remainder when the low res version of the finished image has been approved by the commissioner.  ~When final payment is made, the high res image will be sent via email.

Art Trades

I recently did a couple of art trades with my friends here on DA, most recently with and .  I am very much enjoying them as a way to get some art in that is NOT comic related .  I would love to do a few more over the course of the summer.  If you are interested in doing this please let me know.  

Any commissions take priority over art trades, and again I will only accept a few at a time, because I have other commitments over the summer as well.

Jay originally grabbed my attention because of his very close resemblance to Cabal - Indian background, long dark hair.  Since I've gotten very attached to him and Hazel's love story.  He's got a way different and very interesting back-story now that I've gotten into Owlivia's gallery.

Well there is a possibility that I might be able to get a livestream in today while my hubby goes fishing with friends.

I had a lot of fun last week on the livestream....and I've decided I want to do it again.

Being that I don't want to interfere with 's stream tomorrow how about this morning?

I'm going to get started sometime around 8:00AM PDT....I have an interlude to do up for AWitW which should take me less time than the page I was working on last week.  And I think you'll like the production.

Edit #2:  For those who missed the livestream you can still catch  up on it.  (All 2.5 hrs of it!)  I'm happy to report the upgrade I downloaded seems to have fixed the previous issue with getting dropped video wise... and there is no break in the stream!

I finally managed to get a new character sheet made up for our lovely wild-child, Blue.



I've been meaning to generate a few more character sheets for my stable of players, but it's just not managed to come together...the page I was working on for next week's update happened to lend itself VERY well to adapting as a sheet...YAY...I have a few more individuals I need to make sheets for!

I need to sit down and work on some comic pages again.  I am out of buffer for TOHS and only have a week's buffer on G: P  So that is my priority this morning.

I have three comic pages drafted, on for each of the above and another Threats Redux page which I hope to have ready to post by this weekend!

Novel Novel News

Forgotten Ties
Four days to go until Forgotten Ties is available for purchase!  WOOTS!  I am uber-proud of the effort on this novel...mostly because I know it's humble beginnings intimately - how poorly written it used to be and how much it has improved grammatically and as a dynamic story.

To celebrate the release of FT, I am going to be putting my other two Kindle books on sale for $0.99 for the month of April!  So you'll be able to get FT for $2.99 a download and add BTF and G: P for $1.98!!  Additionally FT will be added to the Lending Library for the foreseeable future, which means those of you who are Amazon Premium members, you will be able to borrow it for FREE!

Other Novel's in 2013
There will be two more novel/novellas coming out this year.   "TOHS: Redemption" (The sequel to Before the Fall) will be coming out this October!  This is Cabal's "Love Story" and while there is action in it, there is a bit more personal drama than in BtF.  I hope you're looking forward to it!  The book is one of my favorites!

This Christmas I will be putting out a collection of TOHS related short stories in a compilation called "Tales from the Dead Zone (Vol 1)"

Gemutations: M&A "Second Edition"
I have also decided to pull my first published title from circulation.  Gemutations: Mercenaries and Angels will be coming off Authorhouse's site/bookshelf.  It needs a grammatical overhaul...badly!!  So the idea is to pull it and give it the FT treatment (A complete revision).  I am hoping to republish the "second edition" in  2015 (that would be the 10th anniversary of its original publishing date).  I have a few copies of the original printing, so if you'd like the old version (Signed of course) let me know!

That's right, here in about a week and a half, "Brothers Martin: Forgotten Ties" will be available for purchase in both Kindle and Print formats!

I am enrolling the title in the KDP Lending Library, so if you are a premium member you will be able to borrow the book for free through Amazon's Kindle Store!

I am restricting the electronic roll out to Kindle for now because honestly the last two books haven't sold a THING through Barnes and Noble's Nook store.  Granted it costs me nothing, but if it's not making me anything...

It's happened again...I'm running into people who tell me "Don't thank me for ________."

I've mentioned it before, but I'm going to say it again.  This attitude irritates me to NO END!

Don't tell me not to say Thank You for doing me a kindness.  I appreciate every Fave, Llama, and comment I get and I do my utmost to be sure the people who take that time KNOW IT.

Your time - when there are hundreds of THOUSANDS of deviations on this site to look at - is valuable.  That you thought it worthy of a fave, or a comment, or you like my profile well enough to give me a llama (even when you don't know me),  makes me excited, happy, worthy...

Then I go to your profile and you tell me essentially "I don't want to hear it..."

That's essentially adding "but" to the action.  If you don't know "but" means everything said before doesn't count - you're contradicting it - rescinding it.  Don't do that to me...it feels like an insult, like you've undermined the action as unimportant - of no consequence - that there's no meaning behind the action.

Probably not the intent right?  

So LET ME THANK YOU!
