Been kicking this around some since I discovered/experimented with it for my own uses. As usual I thought I would share it with my watchers (And anyone else who stumbles across it!
I do highly recommend you familiarize yourself with my other speech bubble tutorials as this tutorial does not cover the basics about convert point tools, paths and other beginning level knowledge points.

GIMP does work a lot like Photoshop does, so usually it's easy to find a similar function. Of course there are still vast differences and sometimes it won't have the same function or anything, but usually these tutorials can give me a basic idea of how to go about something and the rest is trial-and-error-and-don't-throw-the-laptop-at-the-wall.
