I did this particular image Via livestream, only to have the process go totally FUBAR - good thing videotaping doesn't affect the art itself!

This is Gavriel and Arista two characters my friend
created for a recent novel. If I remember correctly it is a mixture of steampunk and vampires (correct me if I"m wrong here) and it is set in Russia. This is my first attempt at doing anything steampunk...not even sure I got that part of the image right...LOL!
I had a lot of fun creating their look based on BBQ's descriptions and by the response she's given me, I'd say I captured them properly!
Again sorry you couldn't be there for the live version of the stream and I'm sorry that there was no recording to go back to once the process was done. I was very upset myself!

I do love this piece! You got both characters down pat, considering what little I gave you to work with, lol. I love the pinstripes on Gavriel's coat, they are so subtle, but still noticeable. I think you have a long career in steampunk if its a direction you'd like to go!
